According to an example embodiment of the present disclosure, a user device for transmitting and receiving data to and from an infrastructure equipment via a wireless access interface is provided. The user device is configured to receive an indication from the infrastructure equipment of a location and duration of a temporal response window for receiving response messages, the response messages being received in response to access request messages and the location and duration of the temporal response window having been determined by the infrastructure equipment. The user device is figured to transmit an access request message for requesting access to the wireless access interface to the infrastructure equipment, and to receive a response message in response to the access request message from the infrastructure equipment, wherein the user device is configured to receive the response message in the temporal response window.
