The UE may transmit/receive data at the same time using the MCG and the SCG based on the configuration information at step 3e-05. If the aforementioned SRB3 is configured, a control message may be transmitted/received through the SRB3.
As described above, the UE may perform an integrity check on each packet when it transmits/receives an SRB or DRB at step 3e-05. The UE may determine whether the UE can be configured with respect to messages received through the SRB at step 3e-07.
If error occurs when an integrity check is performed on the SRB or configured DRB or the application of a configuration received through the SRB is impossible, the UE may determine in which bearer a corresponding error occurs at step 3e-09.
If the corresponding bearer is an SRB (i.e., SRB1 or SRB2) of the MCG or is an MCG DRB (including a bearer transmitted to the MCG only and an MCG split bearer), the UE may perform an RRC Connection Reestablishment procedure at step 3e-11. For example, the UE may select one of neighbor cells through a cell selection procedure and attempt connection recovery by transmitting the RRCConnectionReestablishment message of the RRC layer to the selected cell.
