If the corresponding bearer is the SRB (i.e., SRB3) of the SCG or an SCG DRB (including a bearer transmitted to the SCG only and an SCG split bearer), the UE may stop both the transmission of the SCG DRB and the transmission of the split DRB to the SCG, and may also stop the transmission of the SRB3 and the transmission of the split SRB1/SRB2 to the SCG at step 3e-13. The UE may report the occurred error to the MCG eNB at step 3e-15. When the report is transmitted, the SCGFailureInformation message of the RRC layer may be used. The message may include information providing notification that the cause of the failure is an SRB3 (or SCG DRB) integrity check error RRC reconfiguration failure. The UE may generate the PDCP status report of the PDCP layer with respect to an SRB or DRB that satisfies the following conditions, and may report that the UE has correctly received up to which packet to the MCG eNB at step 3e-17.
Accordingly, the MCG eNB is notified that packets up to which downlink packet have been correctly received so that the MCG eNB can recover any loss although data stacked in the SCG is lost.
