In operation 2240, the wearable device 100 may attempt to connect to other devices by using connection information registered with respect to the identified user. The wearable device 100 may confirm the connection information registered with respect to the identified user. The wearable device 100 may determine based on the confirmed connection information whether to attempt to connect to other devices.

The connection information may include a connection device list. Therefore, the wearable device 100 may attempt to connect only to devices included in the connection information. When a device, which attempts to connect to the wearable device 100, is not included in the connection information, the wearable device 100 may not attempt to connect to the device.

The wearable device 100 may attempt to connect to other devices by using a password included in the connection information. When a peripheral device, to which the wearable device 100 attempts to connect, requires a password, the wearable device 100 may transmit the password included in the connection information of the user to the peripheral device. When the wearable device 100 may not be connected to the peripheral device, the wearable device 100 may display a message indicating no connection on the display unit 120.

FIG. 23 is a diagram illustrating a process by which a wearable device 100 displays a vein authentication procedure, according to an exemplary embodiment. Referring to FIG. 23, while the wearable device 100 performs vein authentication, the wearable device 100 may display the message “In the process of performing authentication” on the display unit 120.
