For some embodiments, a method for displaying delivered information in a virtual reality environment is disclosed. A virtual reality environment may include one that creates a realistic sense of being in another place or providing an immersive environment within which data may be displayed and organized. Creating such an experience may involve reproducing three-dimensional (“3D”) video, 3D audio, or other sensory information for a virtual reality environment scenario.
The method comprises enabling a user to access a virtual reality environment in order to register and become a member of a life view based on custom delivered information. Information is displayed in the virtual reality environment by way of scenarios or avatars projected in the virtual reality environment. The information displayed is based on parameters the user provides about the user's life, which is also known as a life state, as described in U.S. Pat. No. 8,484,098 titled, “System for information delivery facilitating partner rating of users and user ratings of partners” and granted Jul. 9, 2013, which is incorporated by reference herein. The user's life state may span many areas including at least demographic information, ethnic information, social information, behavioral information, and psychological information. The user may grant third parties permission to deliver information to the user's life state. The third parties are also members of the virtual reality environment which is coupled to an information delivery system, which in turn delivers information to the user's life view. The third parties may use the user's life state to filter information for the user.
