First, referring to FIG. 4, a telematics center 400 according to the present embodiment may include a communication unit 410 configured to exchange data with at least one vehicle including the telematics module no and to perform call connection, a route determination unit 420 configured to search for an optimum route in the case of request of the vehicle route, a reference point setting unit 430 configured to set a reference point for each road contained in the route determined by the route determination unit 420, and a point-deduction standard setting unit 440.
Needless to say, the configuration of FIG. 4 corresponds only to parts related to the embodiments of the present invention, and an actual telematics center may include a greater number of components than in FIG. 4 in some embodiments.
As shown in FIG. 5, an operation of the telematics center 400 may be broadly classified into 1) transmitting the route related reference point and point-deduction standard together with route information to the vehicle in response to vehicle request (S500 and 2) managing the reference point and point-deduction standard for each road (S600).
