The computer system 24 obtains the pharmacy database information from each pharmacy transaction system 12a, 12b and 12c as its input. The computer system 24 uses the input pharmacy information to populate the pharmacy database component 300. The pharmacy database component 300 includes at least five (5) different interrelated data buckets, e.g., session data 302, customer data 304, prescription drug transaction data 306, prescriber data 308, pharmacist user data 310, and pharmacy data 311.
The session data 302 may include, without limitation, user identification login for computer system 24, log on password for computer system 24, log on date, log on time in, and log on time out. The session data 302 may also include data relating to each controlled prescription drug requested during a session and data associated with whether the request was filled or denied.
The customer data 304 may include, without limitation, first name, middle initial, last name, date of birth, drivers' license number, address, social security, franchise/merchant code, and franchise/merchant customer number.
