That, is, it is possible that the electrode 101 serves as a cathode and the electrode 102 serves as an anode. In that case, the stacking order of layers is reversed. In other words, the hole-injection layer, the hole-transport layer, the light-emitting layer, the electron-transport layer, and the electron-injection layer may be stacked in this order from the anode side.
