FIG. 9 illustrates a BS including a transmitter, a receiver, and a controller which are configured to perform the above-described embodiments of the disclosure. A transmission/reception method performed by each of the BS and the terminal is implemented to apply a method for transmitting or receiving a DL control channel and a DL data channel to a 5G communication system according to the above-described embodiments. In order to perform the transmission/reception methods, each of the transmitter, the receiver, and the processor of the terminal, and each of the transmitter, the receiver, and the processor of the BS need to operate according to the embodiments.
