In at least one example, the user interface 200 can include a search mechanism 212, wherein a user can input a search term and the server(s) 102 can perform a search associated with the communication platform. In some examples, the search can be performed across each group with which the user is associated, or the search can be restricted to a particular group, based on a user specification.
In FIG. 2, the user can interact with the user interface element that corresponds to Channel D in the second subsection 208 and as such, a feed associated with the communication channel can be presented via the second section 206 of the user interface. In some examples, the second section 206 can be associated with a header that includes user interface elements 214 representing information associated with Channel D. Furthermore, the second section 206 can include user interface elements 216, 218, 219, 220, and 221, which each represent messages posted to the communication channel. As illustrated, the user interface elements 216-221 can include an indication of a user and/or application that posted the message, a time when the message was posted, content associated with the message, reactions associated with the message, and/or the like. In at least one example, the second section 206 can include an input mechanism 222, which can be associated with a message composition user interface to enable a user to compose a message to be posted to the communication channel.
