In other words, the controller 212 may receive an indication of the short circuit via one or more of the current monitor 220, the voltage monitors 230, 232, the current alert comparator 226, or either of the voltage alert comparators 233, 234. For example, the fault isolation controller 212 may receive an indication of the short circuit from the current alert comparators 226 via the current alert line 256 respectively, or from at least one of the voltage alert comparators 234, 233 via the voltage alert lines 262, 263. In another example, the controller 212 may receive an indication of the short circuit based on the current level signal received from the current monitor 220 via the output signal line 254, or based on the voltage level signal received from the voltage monitors 230, 232 via voltage output lines 260a, 260b.
