A technology is described for determining a trust score or trust metric used to determine whether to allow a connection to a high risk destination. In one example of the technology, a connection request to initiate a connection with a destination over a network may be received at a communication service. The communication service may identify a customer account associated with the connection request and obtain a trust score that indicates whether the connection request associated with the customer account may be allowed. The communication service may determine whether the connection request associated with the customer account is allowed to initiate the connection with the destination based on the trust score, and initiate the connection with the destination over the network when the trust score allows the connection request.

As in block 604, the communication service may receive instructions to override the denial of the connection request, and as in block 606, the communication service may initiate the connection to the destination endpoint. For example, the communication service may receive a number or character entered into a telephone interface, or voice data for a word or phrase spoken into a speaker of a phone device, that overrides the denial of the connection request, and the communication service may initiate a connection with the destination endpoint by routing communication data to a device over one or more networks.

FIG. 7 is a flow diagram that illustrates an example method 700 for overriding a denial of a connection request using an authorization code. For example, a service provider of a communication service may provide a caller with an authorization code which may be used to override a denial of a connection request.
