摘要

A wireless device receives, from a first base station, at least one radio resource control (RRC) message. The at least one RRC message comprises master cell group (MCG) configuration parameters of a primary cell (PCell) of the first base station and secondary cell group (SCG) configuration parameters of a primary SCG cell (PSCell) of a second base station, for dual connectivity of the wireless device with the first base station and the second base station. The wireless device determines a failure of the PCell before the PSCell configuration is applied. Based on the failure of the PCell, the wireless device performs a cell selection. In response to the selected cell being the PSCell, the wireless device synchronizes with the PSCell based on the SCG configuration parameters.

    A UE-RRC layer may configure parameters/configurations in the initial BWP common configuration to lower layers. For example, the UE-RRC layer may configure the rach common configuration to a UE-MAC layer. Based on the parameters/configurations, the lower layers may perform procedures. For example, based on the rach common configuration, the UE-MAC layer may perform a random access procedure.
  • A UE may receive an RRC reconfiguration message (e.g., handover command) from a source base station. The RRC reconfiguration message may comprise SIB1 of a target base station. Based on the SIB1 in the RRC reconfiguration message, the UE may perform a acquisition procedure of the SIB1. The UE may forward information, related to upper layers, in the SIB to upper layers (e.g., UE-NAS layer). Based on the information, the UE-NAS layer may initiate a NAS procedure (e.g. registration procedure or service request procedure) and submit a NAS message for the NAS procedure to lower layers (e.g., UE-RRC layer). The UE may perform a random access procedure toward the target cell. Based on successful completion of the random access procedure, the UE may send an RRC reconfiguration complete message to complete handover procedure (e.g., reconfiguration with sync). Based on successful transmission of the RRC reconfiguration complete message, the UE may send the NAS message to the target base station.
