In response to the selected cell being the PSCell, the UE may perform a synchronization with the PSCell based on the SCG configuration parameters. The UE may send, to the first base station via the PSCell of the second base station, a failure information message indicating the failure. The UE may receive an RRC reconfiguration message/release message from the first base station via the second base station of PSCell. The UE perform, based on the selected cell not being the PSCell, an RRC reestablishment procedure shown in
FIG. 33.
FIG. 29 is an example illustration of an enhanced procedure to recover an RRC connection via PSCell using configurations and conditions for MCG fast failure recovery in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure. A UE may receive from a first base station (a base station of MCG/PCell) at least one radio resource control message comprising the secondary cell group (SCG) configuration parameters of primary SCG cell (PSCell) of a second base station (a base station of SCG/PSCell). The UE may detect the failure of a primary cell of the first base station before configuring the PSCell based on the secondary cell group (SCG) configuration parameters. The UE may perform, based on the detecting the failure, at least one of:
-
- suspending radio bearers;
- storing a cell group configuration of the PCell;
- storing the cell identity of the PSCell (candidates);
- storing the cell group configuration of the PSCell; or
