摘要

A wireless device receives, from a first base station, at least one radio resource control (RRC) message. The at least one RRC message comprises master cell group (MCG) configuration parameters of a primary cell (PCell) of the first base station and secondary cell group (SCG) configuration parameters of a primary SCG cell (PSCell) of a second base station, for dual connectivity of the wireless device with the first base station and the second base station. The wireless device determines a failure of the PCell before the PSCell configuration is applied. Based on the failure of the PCell, the wireless device performs a cell selection. In response to the selected cell being the PSCell, the wireless device synchronizes with the PSCell based on the SCG configuration parameters.

The RLCs 213 and 223 may perform segmentation, retransmission through Automatic Repeat Request (ARQ), and removal of duplicate data units received from MACs 212 and 222, respectively. The RLCs 213 and 223 may support three transmission modes: transparent mode (TM); unacknowledged mode (UM); and acknowledged mode (AM). Based on the transmission mode an RLC is operating, the RLC may perform one or more of the noted functions. The RLC configuration may be per logical channel with no dependency on numerologies and/or Transmission Time Interval (TTI) durations. As shown in FIG. 3, the RLCs 213 and 223 may provide RLC channels as a service to PDCPs 214 and 224, respectively.
