Systems and methods of the disclosure include receiving a message from a user at a user client device for a multi-agent entity. The message initiates a message thread between the user and the multi-agent entity. An administrator user for the multi-agent entity is determined and the message thread is forwarded to the administrator at an administrator client device. The method facilitates an exchange of security information between the administrator client device and the user client device. The method includes receiving a message thread forwarding a command from the administrator client device to forward the message thread to an agent of the multi-agent entity at an agent client device. The command can comprise a payload containing the security information.

The user and agent may thereafter engage in a subsequent message exchange 1108 via the user client device 605 and agent client device 505. The subsequent message exchange 1108 is an end-to-end encrypted group message thread using the end-to-end encrypted group message thread techniques described herein. The default agent client device 1105 continues to receive the subsequent message exchange 1108, such as to empower the user of the default agent client device 1105 to monitor and participate in the subsequent message exchange 1108 if they so desire.

The message thread display on the user client device 605 may continue to be labelled with the name of the multi-agent entity through the transition to a group message thread and the subsequent message exchange 1108 including the assigned agent client device 505.

FIG. 11B illustrates an embodiment of a forwarding-based logic flow 1125 with individual-agent labelling for a message thread.

Many of the steps for a forwarding-based logic flow 1125 with individual-agent labelling for a message thread may be the same as steps for a forwarding-based logic flow 1100 with multi-agent labelling for a message thread. It will be appreciated that the same techniques may be except where different techniques are described herein. Specifically, a messaging initiation 1101, encryption initiation 1103, initial message exchange 1104, agent reassignment 1106, group encryption initiation 1107, and subsequent message exchange 1108 may be performed as described with reference to FIG. 11A except as noted.
