The user client device 605, first agent client device 1155, other agent client device 505, and possibly additional agent client devices perform a group encryption initiation 1152 in response to the messaging initiation 1151. The group encryption initiation 1152 may be performed with the user client device 605 and every agent client device for the multi-agent entity. Alternatively, the group encryption initiation 1152 may be performed with the user client device 605 and every default agent client device for the multi-agent entity. This group encryption initiation 1152 provides for the forwarding of messages in the group message thread between the user client device 605, agent client device 1155, other agent client device 505, and any other agent client devices for the multi-agent entity. The agent client devices for the multi-agent entity may then engage in a message exchange 1153 with the user client device 605.
The message thread with the multi-agent entity may be labelled either according to the individual agents that participate in it or according to the multi-agent entity as a whole. Similarly, the individual messages in the message thread may be labelled according to the individual agents that participate in it or according to the multi-agent entity as a whole.
