What is claimed is:1. A method, comprising:verifying, by an enterprise network, that a destination address stored in a destination address field of a header of a Short Message Service message (SMS) message sent from an origination device is associated with a destination device in response to a landline telephone number of the destination device being associated with a dummy record that authorizes transmission of an SMS message and prevents voices services;modifying, by the enterprise network, the destination address of the SMS message to change the destination address from the landline telephone number of the destination device to a mobile telephone number of the destination device;modifying, by the enterprise network, an origination address of the SMS message to change the origination address from a mobile telephone number of the origination device to a landline telephone number corresponding to the origination device; androuting, by the enterprise network, the modified SMS message to the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the modified SMS message comprising the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the landline telephone number of the origination device, and a message field containing contents of the modified SMS message.2. The method of claim 1, comprising:determining whether at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network; andresponsive to the determining that at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network, delivering, via an enterprise messaging service, the modified SMS to the destination device based on message routing instructions.3. The method of claim 1, wherein upon determining that the at least one of the origination device and the destination device is not subscribed to the enterprise network, forwarding the SMS message without modification on a communication link via a router.4. The method of claim 1, wherein upon determining the at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network, intercepting the SMS message via a router and re-routing the SMS message to a gateway server.5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:monitoring a communication link via a router for the SMS message originated by the origination device.6. The method of claim 5, further comprising:intercepting the SMS message via the router; anddetermining whether to forward the SMS message on the communication link.7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:determining whether to re-route the SMS message via another communication link based on the enterprise network subscription status of the origination device or the destination device.8. A server of an enterprise network, the server comprising:a processor that when executing one or more instructions stored in a memory is configured to:verify that a destination address stored in a destination address field of a header of a Short Message Service message (SMS) message sent from an origination device is associated with a destination device in response to a landline telephone number of the destination device being associated with a dummy record that authorizes transmission of an SMS message and prevents voices services;modify the destination address of the SMS message to change the destination address from the landline telephone number of the destination device to a mobile telephone number of the destination device, andmodify an origination address of the SMS message to change the origination address from a mobile telephone number of the origination device to a landline telephone number corresponding to the origination device; andcause a transmitter configured to route the modified SMS message to the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the modified SMS message comprising the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the landline telephone number of the origination device, and a message field containing contents of the modified SMS message.9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the processor is configured to:determine whether at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network.10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the processor is configured to:responsive to the determination that at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network, cause the transmitter to deliver the modified SMS to the destination device based on message routing instructions.11. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the processor is configured to:upon a determination that the at least one of the origination device and the destination device is not subscribed to the enterprise network, cause the transmitter to forward the message without modification on the communication link.12. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the processor is further configured to:monitor a communication link via a router for the SMS message originated by the origination device;intercept the message; anddetermine whether to forward the SMS message via the transmitter on the communication link.13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the processor is further configured to:re-route the SMS message via another communication link based on an enterprise network subscription status of the origination device or the destination device.14. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium configured to store one or more instructions that when executed by a processor of a server in an enterprise network cause the processor to perform:verifying that a destination address stored in a destination address field of a header of a Short Message Service message (SMS) message sent from an origination device is associated with a destination device in response to a landline telephone number of the destination device being associated with a dummy record that authorizes transmission of an SMS message and prevents voices services;modifying the destination address of the SMS message to change the destination address from the landline telephone number of the destination device to a mobile telephone number of the destination device;modifying an origination address of the SMS message to change the origination address from a mobile telephone number of the origination device to a landline telephone number of the origination device; androuting the modified message to the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the modified SMS message comprising the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the landline telephone number of the origination device, and a message field containing contents of the modified SMS message.15. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the one or more instructions further cause the processor to perform:determining whether at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network.16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the one or more instructions further cause the processor to perform:responsive to the determining that at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network, delivering, via an enterprise messaging service, the modified SMS to the destination device based on message routing instructions.17. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the one or more instructions further cause the processor to perform:upon determining that the at least one of the origination device and the destination device is not subscribed to the enterprise network, forwarding the SMS message without modification on a communication link via a router.18. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the one or more instructions further cause the processor to perform:upon determining the at least one of the origination device and the destination device is subscribed to the enterprise network, intercepting the SMS message via a router and re-routing the SMS message to a gateway server.19.
