The terminal device may determine, depending on whether the first CSI configuration and the second CSI configuration include the above field, whether there is an association relationship between the first CSI configuration and the second CSI configuration. If there is an association relationship between the first CSI configuration and the second CSI configuration, the terminal device may perform measurement for NCJT or single-station transmission. In this case, the first indication information and/or the fourth indication information may be sent to the terminal device by using RRC signaling.
