In one example, a communication method by a base station (gNB), comprising: transmitting first information to configure a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) and second information to configure one or more resource pool for sidelink communication; wherein the first information includes a configuration of numerologies for the PSCCH and PSSCH; and the second information includes a configuration of one or more resource pools for the PSCCH and PSSCH within the sidelink BWP.
