摘要

A wireless communication device executes a low-latency application in a source wireless communication network based on application context that comprises an application user identifier, an application session identifier, and an application session pointer. A target wireless communication network detects a hand-in of the wireless communication device, and in response, obtains the application context for the wireless communication device from the source wireless communication network. The target wireless communication network wirelessly exchanges low-latency data with the wireless communication device for the low-latency application based on the application context that comprises the application user identifier, the application session identifier, and the application session pointer.

In some examples, a wireless access node detects a hand-in of a wireless communication device that was executing a low-latency application in a source wireless communication network based on application context that comprises an application user identifier, an application session identifier, and an application session pointer. The wireless access node transfers a handover notice for the wireless communication device. An application server receives the handover notice for the wireless communication device, and in response, obtains the application context for the wireless communication device from the source wireless communication network. The application server exchanges low-latency data for the low-latency application with the wireless access node based on the application context that comprises the application user identifier, the application session identifier, and the application session pointer. The wireless access node exchanges the low-latency data for the low-latency application with the application server. The wireless access node wirelessly exchanges the low-latency data for the low-latency application with the wireless communication device.
