At 1314, the first RAN may receive (e.g., via the first base station) configuration information from the UE. The configuration information may be provided during a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure and may indicate a dual connectivity status of the UE. In some embodiments, the dual connectivity status may include any, any combination of, and/or all of an indication disabling (and/or enabling) dual connectivity for the UE, working frequencies associated with a second RAN connected to the UE (e.g., frequencies the UE is using to communicate with the second RAN), and/or configurations associated with the second RAN (e.g., whether the UE is in stand-alone mode, serving frequencies of the second RAN, and so forth). In some embodiments, the second RAN may be configured to operate according to a second RAT. In some embodiments, the first RAN may communicate with the second RAN and receive, from the second RAN, serving frequencies and/or configurations associated with the UE's connection to the second RAN. In such embodiments, the dual connectivity configuration for the UE may be further based on the serving frequencies and/or configurations associated with the UE's connection to the second RAN. In some embodiments, the first RAN may determine that the second RAN is serving the UE based on an identifier of the UE.
