摘要

A method and apparatus for controlling relaxed measurement in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a network, a first measurement configuration including at least one of relaxed measurement conditions. A wireless device receives, from the network, a second measurement configuration including a frequency set to be measured in an idle state and/or an inactive state. A wireless device determines to perform a relaxed measurement or no measurement on at least one of frequency which is not included in the frequency set included in the second measurement configuration, based on that the at least one of the relaxed measurement conditions is met.

  • if the second relaxed measurement criterion for UE not at cell edge described below is fulfilled:

    • the UE may choose not to perform measurement for measurements of intra-frequency, NR inter-frequencies of equal or lower priority, or inter-RAT frequency cells of equal or lower priority;

    if highPriorityMeasRelax is configured with value true:

    the UE may choose not to perform measurement for measurements of NR inter-frequencies or inter-RAT frequency cells of higher priority;

      • if lowMobilityEvaluation is configured and cellEdgeEvaluation is not configured; and,
      • if the serving cell fulfils Srxlev>SnonIntraSearchP and Squal>SnonIntraSearchQ; and,
      • if the UE has performed normal intra-frequency or inter-frequency measurements for at least TSearchDeltaP after (re-)selecting a new cell; and,
      • if less than 1 hour have passed since measurements for cell (re-)selection were last performed; and,
      • if the first relaxed measurement criterion for UE with low mobility described below is fulfilled for a period of TSearchDeltaP; and,
      • if highPriorityMeasRelax is configured with value true:
      • the UE may choose not to perform measurement for measurements of NR inter-frequencies or inter-RAT frequency cells of higher priority;
      • if both lowMobilityEvaluation and cellEdgeEvaluation are configured; and,
