A plurality of resource pools and/or a plurality of transmission and/or reception points may be used in wireless communications. Different pathloss references may be used for different resource pools and/or different transmission and/or reception points. A wireless device may receive one or more messages indicating a plurality of power control parameter sets each associated with a respective resource pool and/or a respective transmission and/or reception point. The wireless device may control a transmission power based on a pathloss reference associated with a resource pool and/or a transmission and/or reception point.

The one or more configuration parameters 1820 may indicate a mapping between at least one power control parameter set of the plurality of power control parameter sets 1830 and at least one pathloss reference signal of the plurality of pathloss reference signals 1831. The base station 1810 may determine a subset of the plurality of pathloss reference signals 1831 (e.g., four pathloss reference signals from 64 pathloss reference signals) and may map each pathloss reference signal of the subset to at least one power control parameter set of the plurality of power control parameter sets 1830. The subset of the plurality of pathloss reference signals 1831, for example, may comprise the Pathloss reference RS 0, the Pathloss reference RS 1, the Pathloss reference RS 2, and the Pathloss reference RS 3. The Pathloss reference RS i, for example, may be mapped to the power control parameter set i (where i=0, 1, 2, and 3). No pathloss reference RS may be mapped to the remaining power control parameter sets (e.g., the parameter control parameter set 4, the parameter control parameter set 5, . . . , and the parameter control parameter set 15). Each pathloss reference signal of the subset may be mapped to a plurality of power control parameter sets. The Pathloss reference RS i, for example, may be mapped to the power control parameter set i, to the power control parameter set i+4, the power control parameter set i+8, and the power control parameter set i+12 (where i=0, 1, 2, and 3), for example, if the subset of the plurality of pathloss reference signals 1831 comprises the Pathloss reference RS 0, the Pathloss reference RS 1, the Pathloss reference RS2, and the Pathloss reference RS 3. The Pathloss reference RS 0 may be mapped to the power control parameter sets 0, 4, 8, and 12, the Pathloss reference RS 16 may be mapped to the power control parameter sets 1, 5, 9, and 13, the Pathloss reference RS 32 may be mapped to the power control parameter sets 2, 6, 10, and 14, and the Pathloss reference RS 48 may be mapped to the power control parameter sets 3, 7, 11, and 15, for example, if the subset of the plurality of pathloss reference signals 1831 comprises the Pathloss reference RS 0, the Pathloss reference RS 16, the Pathloss reference RS 32, and the Pathloss reference RS 48.
