According to the switching circuit apparatus 2, the switching elements Q11 and Q12 operate complementarily. When the switching element Q11 is turned off and the switching element Q12 is turned on, a current flows in the order of: a positive electrode of the DC power supply E12→the diode D1→the capacitor→the switching element Q12→a negative electrode of the DC power supply E12, and thus, the capacitor C11 is charged. Therefore, before turning on the switching element Q11, the capacitor C11 keeps a sufficiently high voltage to operate the drive circuit DRV11.
The terminal P21 is applied with a first voltage V1. The terminal P22 is applied with a second voltage V2 lower than the first voltage V1.
The switching elements Q21 to Q24 are connected in series between the terminals P21 and P22.
